Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Be proactive

I have been laid off twice at various companies. TU might end up being my third (or not).
Words of wisdom: 1. Never be loyal to any company. Earn your keep, spew the company mantra, but realize companies are never loyal to you, never, no matter what their say. 2. keep your resume current, 3. always keep improving your skills. 4. keep up with your professional contacts. 5. save for a rainy day even when it is not raining. No matter how angry you get, you will not change decisions already made. Unfortunately, this may not be your last layoff, so get used to it now and consider it just a speedbump in your career Their loss. Get upset for a day, then move on from TU to where your skills are valued. I will.
