In reality from what us been said..getting worst for at least another year.more layoffs.no merit increase and be lucky to get the bonuses. But hey we have staff turnover consistently same or lower as competitors and hey here is a few course to look like we care a out employees.is it me or hard to listen to these people still getting their bonuses and been flown around in private jets.at least most of slt didn't sugar coat it as much as hr!!
Chuck just announced 100M in cost saving measures needed for next year, assume next round of layoffs will be Q1 24.
If the pulse survey really is anonymous it's next to useless. There's no indication of location, role or department.
In HN I've never spoken to my skip level management and Ive not heard anything from the next 3 layers above. Things have to improve under vantiva one way or another

I’m in the Home Networks container that’s about to slip overboard. I’m sure they’re lying about the Pulse survey being anonymous, but who cares? I gave it to them the same way I gave my opinion (when requested) to skip-level management: the people I work with are great, the work has never been more interesting, but everything else is deteriorating. I’m hoping Vantiva is better.
Just thinking back to Arris days today.
The place had training,teamwork/collaboration.employees felt valued.then I thought how in the last 4 years, the majority of great Arris colleagues laid off.loss off knowledge is indescribable. Basically employees are cannon fodder now.
Slt and hr are untrustworthy and treat employees with utter contempt.i use to care about my job but why would anyone give to a company who cut benefits ,lay offs,pay freezes all while slt keep their nests feathered

Probably want be no lay offs any time soon. 30 people from Catawba moving to Claremont to help with copper. And the orders that Clermont get for slt and fiber coming to Catawba. So probably not any time soon. But will get 12 days off for Christmas.

As a manager who has contact with other managers and directors, we don't know anything about layoffs. Right now we are focused on completing the End of Year Manager review for all the employees as the deadline is approaching.
Each survey has IP tracked during submission. Layoff routinely happens at week of Thanksgiving or christmas.
Guys, Chuck and Kyle are here to break the company up, sell off the pieces, and get Carlyle out at a decent return. That’s what they did at Accudyne (their last gig together) and that is why Carlyle brought them in. Everything and everyone else is expendable.

Yes layoffs are coming. With fiber going to Monday-Thursday, you have a whole shift that they don’t need. So think about that. Just get ready. And years ago they laid off right before Christmas.
