It’s not a secret. Seek and find it in the HR pages.

2023 was a no-raise year but that's an outlier. Every other year we get raises.

RSU grants in March. Used to be 1 grant with 4 year vesting but sometimes they give out grants for multiple years all at once. RSU's vest Jan, Mar, Sept, Dec

Performance review around June. Review is super-super-simple, no forms to fill out, feedback, accomplishments, etc. You get a 1, 2, or 3 grade. 1=great, 3=we want to lay you off. Most people get 2's.

Pay raise around July. Slightly below industry average but our stock has gone up way above industry average so it's okay.

Bonus in Dec. Based on your rating (1,2,3), job title, company performance, BU performance. I'd say bonus might range 25-60% of your base pay depending on all the above factors. Last few years it was on the very high end of that as there was immense demand for all our communication chips during COVID.

Most BU's have fairly stable headcounts - few layoffs, not much hiring. The headcount bloodbath you are going through right now is a 1 time thing. Once you're in as long as you deliver your products and stay technically ahead (even a little bit) of you're competition they will keep staff.
