There is a buzz in the Broadcom offices now with the acquisition complete. We look forward to sharing our cubicles with you once you are required to move in. We won’t bite!

I definitely feel like some of you heard what you wanted to hear to justify your preconceived notions.
After Tan’s rant against flexible work and utter disdain for ERGs, coupled with the dysfunctional Broadcom culture, better be prepared to say “goodbye” to a lot of your new colleagues soon.
Competitors are already preparing to recruit away VMW folks in droves. They’d started to before the changes because the awful Broadcom culture is no secret. But with Tan’s message to VMW people basically being “go f yourselves,” there will be a lot of departures.
So far, my interactions with some mid-level leaders have been characterized by a complete lack of respect. All my encounters with them have shown nothing but discourteous treatment towards the new VMW staff.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Broadcom offices migrated to the VMware campus. The campus isn't going away.
The buzz is from the cheap fluorescent lighting in the office.
Seriously where are they going to put all of us?
Not looking forward to interact with any bcom folk. Venus and Mars situation no matter how you look at it.
Most of us are glad for the opportunity to move the company forward and getting adjusted.
That isn’t my experience. Seems to me most folks who accepted are taking a wait and see attitude.
BC replaced the vmware signs at offices 8am on day 1!
It would have taken vmware 2 months and a team of 16 marketing people to do this... I like what I see already. Thanks for the welcome
Thank you for your kind welcome! Happy to be here!
Not going into the office but thanks anyway.
Please excuse if some of the bitter VMW a-holes show up here and post stupid stuff. They are rampant on the VMW layoff page (although it may be only a few people in their parent's basement). Most of us are glad for the opportunity to move the company forward and getting adjusted.
But we might.
Assuming there are people left to bite
