Thread regarding Broadcom Corp. layoffs

Sorry this is a redundant Q

As a VMware employee, we haven't been given visibility into most of BCs benefits and it's an extremely stressful time. Can a current BC employee talk to the maternity leave provided in the US? If it is state dependent, CA?

These entitled vmware folks need a reality check. Broadcom is run lean at correct staffing levels. It's a good wlb but not set up for employee to take 18 weeks paternity leave and then another 4 weeks pto. Your work load gets shifted to everyone else in the team while you have your 1st, 2nd , 4th child. The entitlement. You are welcome to take off more time unpaid. At least then you have skin in the game.

OP, you are the bitter one based on your rants and anger.
Feel free to go to another company and breed if you don’t like our benefits. Maybe they’ll give you more than 18 weeks free paycheck every year to breed.

sounding real bitter that no one wants to breed with you. if you think 18 weeks for someone to medically recover and take care of an infant will drastically reduce profits you’re as d-mb as the next corporate cog

Are you saying the rest of us have to put up with reduced profits and RSU values because you can keep breeding?

This is not vmw where profits don’t matter. You are welcome to not stay.

this is OP - in case anyone’s wondering, i found the mat leave and it’s GARBAGE. garbage on fire. it’s only 6, yes SIX weeks long. only receive 60% of your salary. broadcom clearly doesn’t care about their employees and providing a positive work life experience. what a joke.
