Hock realized her importance?

BC makes 33bn$ with 20k employees and VMW 13bn$ with 38k employees.
This means VMW has 4.8 times worse revenue/employee relation.
You can do the math yourself where BC will save first without impacting engineering or customers.
Broadcom - $26B annual revenue w/20K employees. VMware - $12B annual revenue w/37K employees. Seasoned engineers and large enterprise customers are the most important parts of this acquisition.
Two BUs are currently up for sale, if sold will take with them their support staff and engineering.
There will be two separation dates, day 1 and day 180.
One thing Hock doesn’t need is two HR Chiefs. The entire executive team of all previous acquisitions were laid off on Day 1. I expect this will be the same with our bunch.
Damn. So you mean we won’t get to see another tone deaf exec dance on zoom?
Also all customers pricing will be going up up up. And more nickel and diming.
All duplicate corporate functions are going to be eliminated, along with the leader.
Par for the course. To be expected.
