I think it was correct to shutdown bc unofficial channel . People were all BS most of the time. Atleast they can focus on work now.
The channels being shut felt like a tight "Welcome" slap, and wake up to the reality.

I personally found solace in the channel the past couple of weeks pre/post October 30th to find information, where leadership failed.
Logged in after hours, to see if there was any new information, apart from the vague basic bi--h emails sent today, only to see the channel shut down.

If your expecting anything good from broadcom, you will be bitterly disappointed. Leave as soon as you can. Most peoples twelve month plans are to get as far away as possible from hock.
Seeing the acquisition channel get shut down was "unsurprising" given some of the dialogue, but still a little bit of an "okay, we're going to operate that way now I guess" shock
Seeing Watercooler also shut down sends a very clear signal of "No f***ing talking at work"

The unofficial Chanel needed to be shut down, lot of unprofessional posts on there as well as a lot of junk. I’m surprised it was not immediately deleted. USBenefits being shut down was a surprise since it seems to be the only way to get any kind of assistance with benefits these days.
