Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Excellent John Oliver's piece on McK - Recognize the methods they deploy here at TDC

Cut and paste into your browser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?si=tktUNwtIutt6Kdqy&v=AiOUojVd6xQ&feature=youtu.be.

25:30 in the video sums up McK's strategy for TDC. I can even imagine NC in one of these McK training videos.

SM, NC, KCC, can we play this at our next all-company meeting, please?

Teradata is NOT "woke". The whole DEI act is nothing more than a silk blouse on a pig, a facade, a PR move to try and attract talent.

I've worked at successful, woke companies in the past, and there was a lot of cool employee perks, culture, and benefits you would expect from a liberal work place (gaming caves, free 3D printing, free/vendor meals, free bottled water, open scheduling etc.).

Teradata does none of those things. The toxic, micro-managing atmosphere was one that seems only a few years removed from the times when workplaces had a "foreman" walking around hitting people on the head with his hardhat-- yelling at them to get their lazy as--s back to work. Or a company that just recently relocated from a more conservative place like Ohio, to California.

Aside from the few token hires for TD's Woke Facade, most of the management I worked for when I was there-- were all far-right, authoritarian, transactional, and toxic to the hilt. Most of the HR folks who sign your RIFF paperwork are all far-right there. Aside from HA, JW, and a few other tokens, the C-suite is dominated by far-rights.

Matter-of-factly, TD is so cartoonishly over-the-top with the DEI stuff (and I am a progressive), I suspect that somebody up top KNOWS the company is failing, and wants to make it into a "go woke, go broke" narrative (*because the C-suite folks don't care if TD goes ti-s-up).

NC shame on you for bringing this firm into our business. Not only have we spent $30M with them, they have also negatively impacted our business. And we have now been tainted with their hypocritical practices. KCC, HA and SM how can you condone working with this firm, while spouting your DEI doctrine.

Here’s a shocker (sarcasm) — McK does not practice what they preach/sell.

I’m referring to McK’s involvement with:

Enron

OxyCotin / Perdue Pharma

MAGA era ICE + US Customs Border Patrol

Government scandals / authoritative regime support with The Saudis, Russia, China, South Africa, and France

Hard to claim this is a woke company when we send millions to McK year after year… and appear to be doing worse than ever.

"The fact TD gives so much money McK is evidence this isn’t a woke company"

Haha! So naive! How you think this rat hole is so woke? under the advisement of McK consultation.

Obviously haven't seen McK deck promoting DEI in the workplace. McK are opportunists and will pander to any fool willing to depart with $$$, and especially when NC bring them on as part of friends and family plan.
These grifters are part of the ELT fiasco.
