Thread regarding VMware layoffs

People are only thinking about the stocks so cheap guys where is the passion and values?

I see people being so happy that the deal has closed, but just wonder about the people who have not got jobs now and are asked to leave.

Posted before but it was removed. Basically… people work for money. If you want to work for values go get a job at a non profit. For profit business are driven by share holder desires for investment returns not to keep employees happy. That’s just a some times happy byproduct to keep the business rolling.

That’s business. You can claim you value values but we all work for the money, otherwise we’d work for non profits. Get off your high horse and grab the cash off the ground and run away.

"Where is the passion and values?"

Frankly, I welcome my new stocks, etc. I also welcome the deep cuts and layoffs. Far too long people have been su-king this company dry, performing minimal work, doing nothing but being blockers.

By Felicia.

Hate me, IDC.

I think the happiness is that this madness finally comes to an end... of course noone should be happy that people will lose their jobs, but this has been a horrible period of turmoil and finally everyone can start to plan for whatever the future is.
