if you max your espp and hold your vested rsus and buy the dips like i did over the years, you'd also be looking at a $2m+ payday that can be structured to be tax free.

No single non founder employee should be making 100 to 1000x average employee salary imho. No one is 1000x “more valuable” especially these id--t “managers” who can’t tie their own shoelaces.

Things like this just feels really dirty. Its so obvious why execs get these golden parachutes: Because we're all human and if someone said: " Psst... I will give you millions of dollars to step aside and not get in the way of our hostile takeover of your company" of course most sane people would oblige and probably just wipe their hands and retire into obscurity. Ahh. Good old fashioned capitalism...

It shouldn’t be “just biz”

How to get exec comp under control, because now it is the king of economic inequality. That is the one subject all the progressive leaders at the company avoid taking about , but it is more important than underrepresented minorities which dominates the stage.

Well, we all know he does not deserve it, he knows that we all know he does not deserve it. That money would have been used to put food in the mouths of children, clothes on the back of children and educating our children. Instead it will be spent on houses, yachts and cars.

I’ve no animosity to Raghu, or any of the others receiving big payouts, it’s just business. Good luck to them. But every time they swipe their black card, they’ll know that someone else is having to do without.
