I saw self proclaimed experts here blabbering daily about the geo politics, China-US trade war. The news is a slap on their face. Now go back to things you actually know about and do your job! Ridiculous self proclaimed experts on everything!

Agreed, if I were you I'd delay a celebration until we know the details.
There must be a reason why it took so long, and the impact is yet to be determined.
Any approval will come at a high cost and potentially high risk, depending on the concessions provided to the Chinese.
BTW, I've not seen anything but insightful commentary. With the exception of some scared employees who want the deal to close at any cost because they likely fear unemployment. Totally understand, if you've been at VMW over a decade and fear change.
China approved the deal only in a public facing way, internally the deal is still off.
