SETTLE DOWN.

No one is confusing the Pivots with all of Tanzu. All of Tanzu is its own special clûsterfu-k. The Pivots are the cherry on top of the dysfunction in that “org”.

NOT EVERYONE IN TANZU WAS A PIVOT.

Sorry for the all caps, but wanted to say that loud enough for the trolls in the back to hear me.

I joined VMware Tanzu without any knowledge of the past politics, "ceremonies" etc. So just stop. Some people joined Tanzu after the Pivotal acquisition and aren't aware of grievances, whether real or perceived.

I was excited to be a part of this team and believed in our mission and vision. I still do. I looked up to VMware for a very long time (again no knowledge of your political bull-stuff but more from an "look at the impact this company has had on technology" standpoint).

Hate and disagree with whatever you want to, but don't fault those of us who believed in a dream and did everything we could to make it a reality.

Not rent free, just the opportune time to ask.

Wow. Seems Pivots are living rent free in some folks heads.

Don't worry, Tanzu will be carved off into a completely separate BC BU from you Pivot haters, so you won't have to work with them anymore and they will be judged on their own merits, as will you. I just hope for your future team mates that you aren't as rude and demeaning to them as you are to random people on the internet.

I think many are still in hiding,, one needs to be patient and wait until you hear them clap and play a gong to root them out.

Will they be gone soon?

I don't think the Pivots ever really joined VMware - they just stolled around making stuff up as they went looking at any non-Pivot person in a condescending manner while they vested and made believe CF and Spring were covering payroll.

Caveat - PSO Pivot did their thing for their paying customers.

"They are busy updating resumes."

But it's taking much longer than it should because they are pair programming it on a shared Miro board. Strong possibility it'll never get done...there are more important problems to solve, like what to call themselves now that they are, technically, no longer Pivots.
