Unlike PD John Malone is respected in this industry and his words carry a lot of weight. I would pay very close attention to what he has said in regards to PD as it pertains to Altice.

John Malone is who PD wants to be when he grows up. Yes PD patterned his business model after Malone but that is where the similarities between the two men end. PD is a brash, co--y, arrogant fool who believes he can bullsh-t his way out of any bad situation, while Malone is a very measured and calculating person who has had a knack for getting the timing right with using debt to build his empire.
