HR Email - Performance Evals Dec 4

The HR lady just sent an email that says on Dec 4 managers have to submit performance evaluations of their direct reports. Seems incredibly fishy obviously given the layoff announcement.

This feels accelerated compared to last year. I remember performance evals not being done until March...I bet they are requiring managers to tank peoples' reviews

FYI, the employed as of 01-Feb is also no different than prior years. The recent email regarding bonus was establishing the floor for company portion of said bonus.

Timing is no different than any other year.

What's fishy is the accelerated pace of it. If they are truly saying that you have to be employed on 2/1 to get the bonus, then who knows if they will use all this to make cuts around mid-late Jan. Just keeping us more in the dark like a good little greedy corporation.

I read it. Looks like it's just the normal year end process. Associates put their own peformance in starting Dec 4. Then managers review later in the month and review with their teams starting end of Jan. But who knows how they will use the data.

So the axe will be dropped around X-mas time?

WTH. TU gets weirder each day. Tell HR that we do not recommend Chris or Venkat to continue their employment. Everyone else gets a raise, a coffee cup, and can go back to meaningful work.
