Is Dell going to let go of employees who work remotely 100% because there is no near by campus?

This is 100% about tax write offs. They only need enough employees coming in to claim it. So no they won't fire the remote employees but they may take it into consideration during wfrs.
Building Tag....
what is 10% remote, that is less than Dell's policy.
Cool jobs in other companies offer 10% remote + $300K of salary for interesting research-oriented work. Dell is nowhere near this..
It's a dumpster fire. No one is coming in. They strip the buildings and land and hawk all the employee amenities under the 'we are a remote company' slogan.
then when they realised they couldnt expense and amortize what buildings land and equipment they have left they turn aro0und and renege on employees
all this for pennies really. The top tier at dell is so incompetant it's bordering negligence
nobody is even monitoring it. My manager told use we have to be in the office three days, yet he never goes in and when he does, he leaves early anyhow. I don't think it's being monitored. I'd say just show up every once in a while, just to keep the illusion that you're trying to adhere to the policy.
They won’t go full Amazon. But I could see them insisting people further out than 1 hr go in at least some.
They will build a tiny office building just for you. You can build a tiny house next to it.
no they will build an office near you
