Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

LNN NL

Does anyone know the salary range of JG5 in Rotterdam Weena? Considering a sideways move on a LNN. Is it worth it and safe to move under current situation? Our division comes under P&T and this is supporting chemicals business but advising Trading & Sectors. Does the same PIR what i hold here apply in the new location?

If you are currently in the US you will make a lot less. As was said, LNN in Europe doesn't make a lot of sense for Americans.

Expect around 3000-3500 euro net/month due to 52% tax rate, health insurance is cheap but rentals are expensive (1500 euro+),, energy is expensive too; barely any saving. Moving from the US to Europe on LNN is not making sense financially, you might be better off looking elsewhere in the US if you are worried about being laid off.
