Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

Random question

At what point does an entire team become irrelevant?

Is it after they’ve proven themselves inept at doing what they are tasked to do?

Is it after they’ve totally messed up rolling out new processes?

Is it after they’ve done a bang up job of spreading the wrong information across the company?

At that point, I’d say they are more of a liability than an irrelevancy.

In The Tower culture, they become irrelevant when leadership’s image takes a hit, and they are probably spinning their wheels during the day to make sure that doesn’t happen instead of focusing on winning O&G…so they will likely never be irrelevant.
People like you demanding results best keep your head on a swivel though…it’s all probably similar to how Xi and Kim jeong operate
