oh well.. weird times, crazy execs. the public disclosure precedes the internal communication via email, underscoring a lack of transparency at transunion. the overall sentiment among employees is one of dissatisfaction, with a prevailing sense that transunion is not an ideal workplace. the prioritization of profits over employee well-being is a recurring theme, leaving a sour taste in the mouths of those who contribute to the company's success. the recent decision to compel employees back into the office, followed by what seems like a dismissive attitude toward their efforts, reflects a disconnect between the company's leadership and its workforce. the question arises: who would willingly choose to work for an employer that seemingly places profits ahead of its employees, demonstrating a disregard for their contributions and well-being? focus on the employee, the profits will follow.

No, I'm out. Not going to stick around for more punishment and to try train some GCC new hires.
I wanna cut my hair and change my name
TU is getting outsourced.
The general goal is:
- Outsource (India)
- Move all data aquisitions and property to the public cloud.
- Disengage all local storage and datacenters.
- Remove all possible long-term growth and assets to artificially inflate stock.
- Get the paperwork and signoff on the purchase on the inflated stock prices by their pre-determined buyers.
- Watch the board of directors, CEO and his direct reports get the golden parachute of stupid amounts of money so they can ride off to destroy another company.
I expect TU to be purchased by someone in the next 2, maybe 3 years. It will take 9 months to a year and a half for a purchase to go through the courts and legislation, but the stock price purchase will be locked in at the time of the deal. Thus, why they're trying to inflate the costs.
Bail while you can.
No. I’m not staying. Sure, the company is “woke” at the top but I was looking to leave for other reasons before the RIF announcement. I hope to exit quickly. The environment leadership created isn’t one I want to experience any longer.
Not really, no.
TU make statements about social justice but treats their own employee community with disrespect and contempt. How rich.
Pickme is correct, it’s like nuclear fallout.
I think the only people who still want to work for TU are in the GCC.
I nominate PickMe for Best Prepared! .
No! My talent won’t consider TU until the CEO, CTO, HR and Board majority are replaced. I didn’t work this hard to be associated with the public embarrassment of more corporate fines and asinine acquisitions while narcissistic leaders gaslight me and blame it all on the economy. They lied about the surveys, they forced and threatened people into offices (some who hadn’t been out of their homes in 15 years) only to announce layoffs 3 weeks later. This gang of misfits at the top made TU SICK. Let’s also talk about Teedra who got a platform from TU to indoctrinate employees with political and social agendas. Not only has TU become the worst company to work for, it’s become a woke think tank with Teedra leading the charge with her scribbles. EFFU-TU Just say NO.
TU has been so grossly short staffed for years, now they are getting rid of 10% of all staff? From where?!? There are dozens of "teams" cut down to 1 or 2 people already! Can I volunteer for the lay-off?
Surviving this is like surviving a Nuclear blast. Sure you survived the blast, but now your hair is falling out and die a slow painful death. I will happily take my severance and go.
