This is just the reality. There will always be nephews and cousins who are best qualified. This happens at every company.

I got the rest of the family on payroll, but I'm having a hard time getting my grandma in. She's having trouble passing the recruitment call, but I think we will be able to coach her through the next one. They asked her if she knows C and she said "Yes I can see fine with 20x20 vision."

Those people are cheaper to hire because they are used to not having toilets and they eat mostly rice.
Though they don't get much work done.

Well it appears that "friends and family" method of hiring and promoting has traveled to AMD with many of the ex-Intel validation folks, ...along with a lot of Intel validation IP, but I digress.

Lisa Su hired some smarmy folks from Intel ... They may end up being her downfall (pun intended)
