I'd like to think that the rest of the team is safe but it's still hard to fully relax. Our manager didn't say anything but isn't it usually that once a team is affected, they are done for that particular round of layoffs? Or am I just imagining things to make myself feel better?

any news on fixed income team?
At current stage it’s like no one is technically “safe” because even after these rounds of layoffs, new management might come up with even “greater” idea and have mini reorgs. The company isn’t here for you so don’t be attached - no guarantee
Once your manager tells the team about who was let go, that's when you know its over and you were spared (for now)
Depends . What area of the bank does your team cover ? Functions (e.g compliance, HR, Legal, etc.) or the business ? And Are there other teams that does the same thing that your team does ?
