Qualcomm is a shadow of its former self. I don't know many people who are satisfied with the way their career has been developing here, especially with all the brown-nosers and yes-men getting preferential treatment for years. Many of us don't care anymore and would be perfectly fine with being laid off.

"My coworkers and their kids will have complete body autonomy "
except which school they should go to, what they are allowed to say, and what they are taught right
"I turn down jobs in red states as a reflex."
you know they don't want you there either right
in fact they are begging you to stay where you are for the love of God
I turn down jobs in red states as a reflex. Especially heavily gerrymandered North Carolina and Alabama. My coworkers and their kids will have complete body autonomy or it’s a Nope from anyone who is smart.
@cyk+1pBxQX5n as someone mentioned in the other thread, bitter ex-Q are miserable and envious of current Q and trying to trick them into leaving. Go current-Q and f#*! bitter ex-Q
There is a significant recession coming. I just hope actions are taken before more layoffs are needed. I just wonder why the company hasn’t been moved to a different state. North Carolina and Alabama both have big tech areas, and are so much cheaper to do business in. Why stay in super expensive San Diego?
Wait till deep recession hits in 2024. You'll be wishing you had a job just to cover the family healthcare cost. Even those close to retirement still want to continue working since retirement savings would be in a decline if we end up in a recession.
I don't think you truly understand the meaning of your written words regarding wanting to be laid-off.
