If there is no buyer, FBU will be shut down for good. Might as well. They brought in those losers from Cisco Systems to run the business and no surprise that failure is repeating here too.

So many in Rochester had left and went to Intel / Solidigm. Combine that with being a smaller location as far as FBU goes it seems to be a consolidation in anticipation of FBU being separated from the HDD business.

Many Rochester engineers are no longer on the MS Team org chart. The FPE VP implied that Irvine will be kept but Rochester is or will be mostly gone.
