they found one of the laid off operators from my department hiding in the ceiling tiles trying to avoid the layoff…, felt bad for the lady... Hard times with the holidays coming up… stay strong everyone…
Confirmed layoffs here at HQ- not sure just how many people are being let go, but there’s gonna be some restructuring in supply chain. A real nice “happy holidays, sc--w you” from onsemi. Just shows how much they care about their employees!
HQ low level employee here, rumor has it this is hitting HQ as well, potentially in supply chain…

People are crying in the hallways at our factory, everybody is hugging each other. 550 souls wiped out from this great company. I have had stomach issues all morning and have been hiding in the bathroom hoping that my name doesn’t get called next as I need this job
