At VMW we used the Radford index with P levels within a wide variety (THOUSANDS!) of different job codes. We've heard Broadcom's setup is much simpler but it might be helpful for us VMW folk waiting on offers to get some context about job levels, titles, comp bands, etc. to build a mental model of things and to get a sense of how our offers fit into the big picture.
- How many levels do you have?
- What does the distribution of people look like across those levels?
- What are typical comp bands at various levels (do you even KNOW your comp bands at Broadcom?!)
- What are typical RSU grants at various IC levels? (size & frequency)
Bonus points for Broadcomers who can shed light on how RSU grants and bonus structures differ between IC and Management roles.
