It's a bit nostalgic. Feels weird that most people are going about with their daily routine and look pretty relaxed. People are being pretty cool about it offering me their condolences. It hasn't fully hit me yet. In a few weeks, I will be a thing of the past and will have absolutely nothing to do with Qualcomm and Building Q. Maybe I should sell all my RSUs and have a clean cut.

Folks! Don’t be an a*s. Of course I wouldn’t want to be laid off. But I wouldn’t want to see my long-time co-worker go either. Of course family comes first, everybody knows that. But do not underrate friendship either. Be a human for a second and talk from your hearth. Not everything is money.
I'm taking my chair. No one else will want it. What do you think?
You are getting condolences and they are saying thank god it's you and not me
Of course they are relaxed, they didn't get cut.
Offering condolences is due to the awkward situation of them still seeing you.
Fact of the mater is, there are no actual friends at work... only co-workers.
You will truly only realize this after retiring or getting laid off.
Sell covered calls now that you can
All the best. Good luck!
