Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Research your new company properly

I know many are in the process of a job search, including those who were not laid off but have had enough of Qualcomm's cr-p. My one advice is to research the company you get an offer from thoroughly. I didn't and I ended up here thinking I was winning a jackpot by landing this job. I was wrong. Make sure not to make the same mistake and rush into things.

Sorry, you don't know until you know first hand. Unless you have someone on the inside you trust. Things can vary widely across an entire company. And things can change both directions while you are there.

Hasn’t been “great” since Nokia was the highest phone maker! If there is anyone left who remembers those days.
