I don't understand how Employees are accepting 0% pay rises when MS is making record profits and its share price is hitting 52 week highs?
I thought the innovation was coming from the Employees and not the C suite

The grass always looks greener on the other side, but is it? The previous post shows new hire compensation packages, by level. Let's compare and contrast them with Amzn, for example; I doubt very much they are remotely comparable. Layoffs, pay freeze may have an impact on morale. What about the need to go back in the office in person? In the end these are all facts of business life. They apply to everyone. If someone is so unhappy about their workplace and wants to leave, the door is open. Someone else deserving and more grateful will fill their place.
