I'm based in APJ and heard a rumour that the US team already started receiving offers. Can someone from the US team confirm?

I got one. Package was nice more Rsus than I had before. Pay was about the same. They are putting me on a tiger team to help make the smooth transition

No special treatment to anyone like someone saying MVPs will get this week. No one is special here. The only reason we will not here this week is because of some admin and technical issues like a lot of folks did not update their workday profiles with personal info. We will know next week or beyond.
I’m in US and guidance we’ve received (on our team at least) is to not expect anything this week, following week maybe but not guaranteed.
Yes, if you get an offer this week, then you are an MVP. If you decline, they will give the offer to the most valuable person on the layoff list. This is why you see the delay.

It is more that a rumor on this site. Offers were supposed to start this week. The rumors have been around those being delayed until next week.
As expected there is a list of the most critical roles then declining to the less critical. They do not plan to send all offers to all people at the same time. They will start with the most critical offers first.
It is possible that they're waiting for China approval first before sending out communication, China approval is expected any day now.
Only high-up or “critical” employees have received offers. I know VP level and up all know what their role and responsibilities will be under BC. And I have a personal friend on the NSX team that received a retention offer last week because they were deemed a critical engineering asset. 99% of us are still sitting on our hands and waiting.
No. It was communicated that it would be between now and the end of the month. Any indication of earlier was just a rumor spread on this site.
Speculation: will occur in batches over the next few weeks.
