any info on when the move of Brookfield to new downtown location?

They don't want you to drive to Milwaukee if you already work in Brookfield. They want you to quit so they can hire someone younger with less experience, and maybe even cheaper, to do your job. It's ageism in disguise.
Talk to any employee who has a family member or friend who is a Milwaukee Police Officer. They will tell you that crime is up in Milwaukee and you don't hear everything that happens. There are many young people including recent college grads who live in the suburbs. Tosa, Waukesha, New Berlin, Greenfield, Weat Allis., etc. Who wants to deal with the head ache of driving downtown. Also events downtown and around happen year round which increases traffic issues. Gas prices are ridiculously high and will increase. We are not getting raises to compensate our extra costs in gas when we move. Many Brookfield employees would rather stay in an outdated building than drive downtown. Yes there are some who will benefit from the move, but they also joined Fiserv on their own free will to go to Brookfield. Most people joined Fiserv for the Brookfield location as a factor amomgst other reasons, and others who have been here a while settled in the western suburbs because of Fiserv in Brookfield. Makes no sense to move since we own the Brookfield location and are leasing downtown. They should have remodeled Brookfield. Would save money and talent and knowledge from leaving once we move! If they want to attract young talent, they wouldn't make us come into the office 4 days a week!

More than a dozen cars stolen in the last 3 weeks but according to the previous poster there is no crime issue in Milwaukee and we are all id--ts. Can't wait to see how many BKF associates give their notice when the official move date is provided. I know I am. I will not be commuting to that sh*t hole city. This is going to prove to be a huge mistake mid-et Frank. The only high quality employees he is going to find by moving to Milwaukee will be the criminal quality.

News flash. No new hire is gonna move to an expensive, downtown city anywhere, for the peanuts that fiserv pays us.
You expect new employees to move across the country, instead of working remote for a competitor.

re "new generation of talent". That is a laugh! NO new talented person will be able to perform the functions of employees with 20+ years of experience and who BUILT this company to what it used to be. What this company is now is a joke.
The new generation of talent doesn't want to commute out to the suburbs sad to say. It makes hiring hard, particularly in tech roles. This is all about getting fresh talent. Especially for getting talent from out of state. Working in suburban Milwaukee is a tough sell. Downtown Milwaukee? That's a little bit of an easier sell for recruitment.

Not sure but I know the Brookfield (oFS) attrition rate will increase which is the real reason First Data made the decision to relocate from a safe suburb to a city with a skyrocketing crime rate.
