Can anyone from previous Broadcom acquisitions comment on how we should expect to receive potential offers?
Will it be an email? If so, from whom? Will it be priority mail? Message in a bottle? Carrier pigeons? Owls, so I can make sure my mean muggle uncle doesn't throw it in the fire?
Maybe I missed it, but it would have been nice to at least know the delivery method for being notified on one of the 3 lists.
The only reason they need your personal email is to fire you right after disabling your access to VMware systems.
indeed it is a personal email. You are supposed to add that to Workday. The letter says welcome to the team or in a nutshell, welcome to the team for the time being. If no letter is received by the 1st, you are going to be let go by Broadcom. This is what I heard from management.
They will be delivered to your personal email from Broadcom.
Letters will be delivered on the end of a sickle by the grim reaper.
Notifications will be sent to mailing address.

God forbid this absolutely minuscule amount of information was divulged so we knew which email address to be checking. Some of us are on PTO etc
Seeing messages that offers will go to work email and severances to personal. That's rumor.

Based on this I am thinking since the systems are not yet integrated they're probably somehow delivered to VMW to be delivered to Workday, not sure how that works.

This is inaccurate. It was revealed by KIT at the OCTO all hands that IF they are unable to reach you via VMW for whatever reason the personal email is a backup.

I'm staring at the emails now. There was an email on 2 Oct that says "You have 30 days to update your personal email so Broadcom can contact you".
They then followed up in the official Slack channel with the same. So, regardless, it will end up at your personal email.

I was clearly told by my manager that any communication will be done via your personal email and phone number. Not on your vmware email account. So keep an eye on the spam as well.
You missed it. You obviously fell asleep during the All Hands, and missed the emails, and missed the conversations in Slack, and missed the threads here.
