How to handle layoff if you are not in manager’s friend list ? Manager and his friends are mo--ns who don’t let us to function properly and play games. I tried to move from this project last year.

Ha, if my manager was truly my friend, I would be on the layoff list.

That said, I don't think our direct managers have much to say about who stays and who goes. It's possible that even their managers don't.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop like most of us...

Why do people think all will be settled in Q1? I know that's what Jane an her peeps are saying. I'm sorry, Citi doesn't have my trust in regards to timelines or promises.

Last In First Out; it takes time to built relationships in the new team; need to thread carefully at first learn the team and get all the blame;
I am staying where I am until Q1; then will pick a new team

A lot of mobility is going on right now so maybe apply for another internal position. My manager doesn't have a clue and isn't as 'transparent' as she/he/they claim to be. I like my team so I am still pondering on this myself. Lol.
