Not sure if it officially counts as layoffs but after pushing back most campus hires to March 2023, 120 campus offers have officially been rescinded.

For future college applicants. This firm used your peers as an option play. If the market got better they would have staff. If their market stayed bad, your peers were left out in the cold. Don’t apply. There are better firms.
Super unprofessional, they strung us along the whole process initially promising that rescinding wouldn't happen after they first deferred us. Absolutely terrible that companies can do this.
