I’ve been buried in a project and finally had time to reach out to a past project resource regarding some advice. Found out the person was let go months ago due to a project cancellation. These things happen, but why does our leadership stay so tight lipped? This lack of transparency with your teams is exactly why so many Perf employees love their teams, but don’t trust our leaders.
If you’re gonna lay people off, be open about it.
