Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

ex-QCOM (retired voluntarily 2016) glad to be done with it

Let's face it, QCOM is a toxic tech company, particularly the management which is garbage and they keep recycling these people. Padovani as CTO was an exception. Not bitter, these are just the facts. I made a good chunk of $$$$ while I was there and retired voluntarily in 2016 after surviving the big layoff in 2015. Never looked back. Good luck with the latest RIF. 5G is a complete bust.

Why wait? LOL

I totally agree. Qualcomm is a very toxic working environment especially at the manager level. I am glad I was part of layoff last time. Got my package and better job with very good working environment. Wish you all the best.

Retired 7 years and still on these forums. That is just sad...
