In a management meeting today, there hasn't been a whisper of news, but word has it that there are NDAs in play, and the higher-ups are keeping their lips sealed. It appears they're already in the know about what's on the horizon. It's not about the folks, but the moolah, as you're well aware.

At this stage it makes zero difference who knows what. If you haven't prepared for layoffs then you are a bit late as it is. What do you do if someone tells you today you are being laid off ? Hoping you find a new job in little to no time ?
People sometimes seem to forget they are responsible for their own future and career.
some leaders have been leaking already informing teams, shut your mouths
I’ve signed the NDA, that is all I can say.
Thank you, come again.
why does it matter about if and what management knows. Going by Broadcom's history, this is going to be bad, it is just how bad. Do what you can personally for the next step in your career. It is hard on everyone now, but having gone through these kinds of stuff a couple of times, you will get over it and move on.
Don't think management is trying to sc--w anyone, they have nothing to gain from it unless the manager is a complete psycho. The unknown is always scary. The only way out in this scenario is to go right through it.
Lips will be unsealed, very soon... but you won't like what's said
Well, yeah, derp. They'll be unsealed by the end of the month. Give up the mysterious oracle act, it doesn't work.
Lips will be unsealed, very soon... but you won't like what's said
well, they're not really keeping their lips sealed, but the ones who know something are keeping their lips sealed when it comes to posting to the internet.
Keep helping customers, keep improving the products, keep closing deals, keep solving problems.
Or at least move your mouse every couple of hours to appear like you're around.
I just wish more readers here would understand this and not assume leadership is trying to sc--w them.
I think everyone understands this...no surprise there.
OP - are you new here?
