"Yes, I remember how Q proudly stated that it would not resort to layoffs following the 2008 crash, like our competitors, but rather, Q would use the market downturn to build a greater lead over them. I don't recall seeing any large layoffs until the big one in 2015. Q used to be a great place. Sadly, those days are gone"

There was a hiring freeze and salary increase freeze to avoid layoffs. (Thanks to PJ QC felt like family). People were moved across divisions. That's not a layoff.

There were layoffs in 2008 and early 2009…. Hiring freeze in place until mid-2009… your memory is a little off
