Last week they announced EOL effective immediately for some NSX and all NSX+. Is this writing on the wall that BC will axe the BU?

NSX+ is deader than a dodo. Don’t believe what some are saying about it being “on hold”. It’s too expensive to run and without cloud support (Shock Tan wants On-Prem focus) the usecase is rather thin (unlike Hock). All insiders know very well it’s dead beyond resuscitation even if that’s not what the masses are told.
I would guess NSX+ will only be available as part of VCF+ in the new world.
Its not like NSX subscription was ever even a real thing.
What about NSX-FU?
NSX+ SKU's pulled, Silent withdrawal. Embarrassing just right after VMware Explore
There are better 3rd party tools than NSX+ that already offer features that were 2+ years out on the NSX+ roadmap.
nsx+ is EOL

You probably referring to NSX-V, that's been on cards for a while, Now is as good a time as any. Nothing wrong with NSX-T, that's here to stay as a product, what happens to BU, My guess is as good as anybody's. btw, NSX-T is now simple referred to as NSX, I can understand the confusion.
Ps: I don't work for NSBU.

I would imagine that all it means is that the solution is being integrated into CPs like the rest of the SDDC stack and not being sold stand alone anymore.
