There is. RIF in progress. I was impacted as well as several colleagues in DFW, KRK and India. Don’t know who I have more feelings for- the ones who are being liberated or the ones left behind. Good luck to all!

There's no point in worrying about layoffs. Just do what's best for yourself. For some that means to remain. For most that means to leave. We must each balance the inconvenience of an unplanned layoff with severance against the convenience of a planned departure with hiring bonus. Anyone with less than 10 years of tenure is probably better off finding another job elsewhere in another industry because their severance lost is less than their hiring bonus received when the inconvenience of a surprise layoff with weeks of unpaid job hunting is factored in. The layoffs are coming for many of us. Do not delude yourself that they are not. The chance of Sabre bankruptcy in the next 2 years is high too. If that happens then vested equity shares awards disappear too. Do not consider those as cash in the bank. They are not.
The question you need to ask yourself is: "This boat is rotten, running low of provisions, and sinking. Will you cling to it as you starve and risk being thrown virtually na--d overboard into the sharks, or will you carefully pack your possessions and safely row to one of the many other boats around that are in much better shape?"
Whatever you choose to do, choose it. You are not helpless. Only you know the best choice for you. If you choose to remain and get laid off then do not complain, because that was your choice. Own it.

FOCUS24 VP+ event is happening at HDQ this week. Perhaps some news will come from that. And then Q3 earnings call in early November. I doubt it will happen.
