Marketing is about to get another (small) haircut so if by chance you’re in Marketing then go to your boss tomorrow and volunteer for a package. The Marketing hammer will descend in about 2 weeks.
Well you missed it this time around but tricky to have this convo with your manager. We’ll have another sizeable layoff next Sept/Oct. so if you could hold off until having the convo until July/August that would be ideal. Unclear whether we’ll have another sizable layoff before then so you might have to just quit and not get an payout. Obviously once you have that convo with your boss you’re probably done. Tough to be a lame duck unless you’re a rockstar and your boss will do anything to keep you.
