Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

IHC - what happened?

No more commission for the IHC, leads are WAY down, categories are taken away.

What happened? What company doesn't pay salespeople on a commission incentive? It will only create lower moral and no excitement.

No doubt with leads down and many salesman covering multiple stores this will be increased such as depot where we will lose i would say atleast 1/3 of our salesman. And now we have lost decking and siding alltogether . Im looking for another job. Lowes is not serious about taking care of our customers projects professionally, this has been a steady decline for years.

"They were overpaid, entitled sales people. They do not follow through the whole sale with customers. They put the burden on the millwork specialist to finish the sale. If they are not happy then leave. Someone else would jump at the chance to do the job with the bigger boost in pay."

While I don't totally disagree with everything said here, just know that Lowes MGMT and the program DIRECTS anything post sale to the stores. That is the "process".

If product is damaged, or a delivery missed then it is the stores duty.

If a sold job needs scheduling, again not IHC. That is the IST office and the installer.

If a customer needs updating on product eta, yet again not the IHC.

This is spelled out clearly in the scope docs.

Don't hate the player, hate the game

Fine. Then I'd give them an ultimatum of $75,000.00/yr salary or I walk.

Seems like an extension of the cutting back on Specialists.
