Wednesday’s all-hands will roll out the plan to put all employees in 1 of 3 groups. Come October 15th, everyone will either be group 1- offer letter to join Broadcom. Group 2- offer to stay on to support the merger and receive a hefty bonus package from VMware directly, or group 3- severance package / termination notice. Should be a fun week.

This has been already shared and discussed few weeks ago and last week agin on some other posts. Everyone knows about WED call and mid OCT. Anything valuable to share?

Better for them to be transparent. We are already maxed out on angst and panic. Providing information is not going to make that worse.

They can fire everyone on the call at the same time, just like in the show “the consultant”
This was communicated on a leadership call last week with Betsy / Raghu. Not sure why they are letting everyone know about this a month in advance. Seems like that’s just going to create more angst and panic for the next 4 weeks while everyone waits to hear their fate.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say everyone is invited.
