These cuts were not based on performance, as many were told in their "exit" interviews. If you think that you are protected from layoffs because you have the best reviews for the past several years, you're not protected. If you think that you are safe because you have the best technical skills and certifications, you are not safe. If you think they will keep you around because you are the go-to person for answers, your thinking is wrong. I have started looking for jobs outside the company, because I see the writing on the wall. There are a lot of jobs out there guys. Take the skills that you have learned and used in Nielsen, and get out there! Years ago, my sentiment would have been different. But I've changed with the times. Use Nielsen. Get the knowledge. Maybe take on a different role for a few months to gain different skills, kiss a** if you have to. Do all this. Meanwhile, fine-tune your interview skills, study, and start applying for jobs. Talk to your friends who have left Nielsen or been laid off in the past and they will tell you how much more money you can make out there. It's the best thing that you can do for yourself and your family.

Since it’s all remote…get another remote job and work two jobs and half-a-s at Nielsen. Another layoff is inevitable.
Oh you don’t care about us no matter how good we are? Two can play that game.
I saved them hundreds for thousands in cost. enhanced their process, didn't sleep well for months to finalize the work.
got laid off recently and my team was handed over to another manager that I was always asked to fix his mistakes and escalations.
best advice on this board!
