Just do it already. I'm ready for that severance.
Most of the it jobs has already been outsourced to India by previous cio.

If you can do the work sitting at home, it can be done from anywhere as long as there is sufficient overlap is work times.
Don't be surprised if teams in US shrink.
Yeah, IT is very lean, however Q has great understandings that supports work less with less. Don't worry.
Just turn it off and back on again.
