Thread regarding IntercontinentalExchange Inc. layoffs

WFH policy/layoffs

I work within mortgage industry & have been looking at black knight jobs for some time. There's one I would like to apply to(remote), but as the Intercontinental Exchange acquisition has now gone through I'm hesitant.

My main question: what is ICE general policy/feelings towards remote positions? I'm wondering if I'd be screwing myself over if I managed to get the job as if I don't live near Jacksonville/other site.

Also, does there seem to be a lot of reduncies between the two companies? Think there will be a lot of layoffs w the acquisition?
Thanks.

@5Jxju Boy how much this comment has aged not so well since the 2024/2025 year was met with micromanaged employee badge in dashboards, can only be remote one time a week and if within +40 miles of a main office remote workers must come into a main office to Jan 2025 layoffs began with full time remote only workers getting cut first.... What an acquisition from one absolutely amazing company to ICE did for morale!

The policy is pretty generous... You can work from home as much as you like....on the evenings and weekends. Weekdays you need to be in the office.
