Some of us were privileged enough to have a meeting to talk about morale. What morale. This company is crumbling by the day we have people with years of experience leaving with no job lined up just to cash in a 401k because they have been starved out. I would think there's some type of legal process for this making sure workers have rights. No one's going to unionize that is old and dead but the point is you cannot continually sc--w every employee over instead of having your layoff setting your seniority-based employees to a fair pay. We understand you have to cut your 401ks and so on and so forth so you can get your bonus. I will warn you though when insurance enrollment comes back out and you guys trying to stick it to us again this company will fold you'll have everybody leave. Which I truly believe is the intended plan all along. Go make your mortgage payment go buy your stock options and enjoy watching hundreds struggle as you prosper. It's just a bad joke. Let's just say business picks up next year. By then you've lost all of your experience workforce. That's okay just hire the next cheapest person you can find. This is why, scope will fail. You will lose market share to your competitors because you don't have the employees that were dedicated to you for 20+ years. Trust me I'm on my way out too it's a sinking ship

Unions are the answer. And they do work. Vote for pro union representation at he state level and these kinds of things will get cleared up.
How many diversity managers schedulers, scrap monitors, garbage patrol people and process techs. does this company need. Or engineers in develop new products so there's no products to be sold in this market. Everybody collects their money somebody has to be rational and open-minded to understand this is insanity. I understand the engineers roll and from what I have seen all they have done is cheaped our product by yanking the water thread tape the water blocking tape they're cheapening down a product so they can make more profits now is that a good sign for a company. Let's just cut everything to the Bone let's make sure the guys on the floor that make it get cut first with a savings Factor that's going to be $1 million dollars. I would like to call out engineering on stupid decisions like mixing compound that's cost them a ton of waste. Installing lines that hamper production. Bad decisions on ramping up stranders that crush the tube and that's more waste. Why don't they learn to talk to the people who run it. That's too much of an ego for our engineers and management to comprehend millions of dollars have been wasted on stupid decisions by id--ts. I could go into specific details but I would hang somebody's head for that.
Most of the time commscope employees I have worked with have always worked hard. And they try and make sure they put out the best product as fast as they can. As for bouncing orders from machine to machine and doing multiple changeovers to waste more of the company's money is absolutely stupid that's putting it nicely. I don't think anyone supervisors up have taken one penny away from their salary. But as for the people that pay their salary let's cut them by 30%. It's a joke whoever is calling the shots here and cannot lay somebody off and shut down lines is an absolute p****
As an employee in North Carolina, the worker has no rights. It’s a right to work state meaning you can get fired if they don’t like the way you look.

We and supervisors running all over the place getting orders run moving orders from one line to the next to the next just to try and figure out how to make the machine turn so they look good. Their salary has not been affected management has not been affected. This is just smoking mirrors let's pretend like we're busy and make sure everybody works as hard as they can when there's nothing to do it's a f** joke
