If a manager lays off her employees, does it mean the manager is immune from being laid off until next year? Would be cruel if she is made to lay off 10 people and get laid off herself the next week?

It’s just opportunity, you need a job done and the manager can di that. I e saw a manger writing down a productivity list and his name was ‘added’ right away. It’s worse when the manager is cut before and someone external to the team is cutting based on title salaries and maybe ppr scores or any other sort of partial info.

It’s the Nielsen way…Lol. Managers are not immune. Years ago they sent the CFO to IL to layoff the entire accounting dept (outsourced) the CFO was laid off thereafter.
