Was told not to plan on getting anything from IT for a while because Sr Directors and above are being shown the door.

There's a lot of management level bloat in that IT. Back in the Fjeldheim Baker Sievers days it was a great department to work for ... the CFO at the time said offshore that cost center ... and guess what? Qualcomm executive leadership team will go down as the most shortsighted bunch of never was chumps that their ever was. Been a he-l hole since Steve M. Took over.
You Haven't been able to plan on anything from this IT for many years. They are completely disconnected.
QCOM has the worst IT staff I ever encountered in Big Tech, bar none. Fire them.
Can certainly say that because of uncertainty who will be there and who not....which project to prioritize and which not ....no new requirements are coming. There is a full wastage of company resources.
Understanding this and DVC setup in IT, I believe 70% team members are underutilized currently.
I’m most surprised that the IT department has leadership at all.
