Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Large purchase of bulldozers.

Heard from a reliable source that Vena want’s multiple locations completely eliminated from the system. Does that explain why they just purchased a fleet of brand new fancy bulldozers? Rumor is only 3 shops will remain open and active.

The low morale of employees is upon us right now. Which lowers the productivity of a employee and distracts a employee of there task at work. And injuries increases because making employees worry if they have a job next week. And they tell us , dont worry about it for now. We are winning.

Hey why don't you tell the reliable source to check their source. To be honest, no one really cares anymore. If this were true, then why aren't the other RR's doing the same? Go spread BS somewhere else!

This is not true, this is satire to keep this site relevant. Union Pacific did not make a large purchase of bulldozers. I’m a machinist so I’m not a troll or a manger which is basically the same thing but I’m a little tired of going on here to see useful information on layoffs and instead end up with scare tactics.

The bulldozers are to push around the large piles of B.S. the UP keeps pumping out; Jim's Fast Facts, Beth and her "award winning DEI programs", This is how we win, Safety and reliability.

@cwo-Sorry to burst your bubble, but he only said that so that his employees “feel” safe and will stay productive and not turn in injuries. What Vena wants to do, Vena is going to do. They are instructing all directors to say that.

FYI if you submit a letter of resignation you might as well walk yourself off the property.

No bulldozers coming to Jenks. Shop director told us that the company wouldn't accept his letter of resignation and they would have let him resign if they where going to shut Jenks down.

Makes sense. No buildings on properties means less taxes.
