Michael Dell is a businessman and logistics expert. He doesn’t know sh-t about technology and never has. He built his company by assembling computers with off the shelf parts cheaper than others. He grew by acquiring tech companies. Unfortunately he doesn’t understand tech enough to have a vision and doesn’t invest in R&D.

Just include the catch frase du jour: "generative AI" in all your conversations (even if you can't explain it or have a clue of the underlying complexities of Ai) then you should be good... that is if you're a recent college grad and DEI selected new hire. If you're a white male over 40 there is no place for you here.

If you keep your focus on DEI and also post your fur babies in the all employee daily chats then you should be good. Any tech issues just ignore and defer them until the next upgrade.

I wanted to think so but found our employment would need to work and live in India. I’ve done a few searches with HR employees location and found 90 % of the groups I thought of working with are overseas in a very poor country. Nothing against them but I would stay in the USA.

I consider the 50+ EMC veterans doing the politics as HEROES.
Normal human beings dont have the courage and bravery to do what they do.
They are facing old age and retirement in a landscape of changing technology.
They dont have Masters or MBA education or relevant experience to do the job they are hired to do and yet they have to feed their family.
Under so much pressure, they come to work and have to ensure their limited knowledge can pull them till 67 yrs of retirement.
Only Heroes will have the courage to lie about hard working co worker . They have a smart mind to tweak or leave out essential data so that the truth is misrepresented to make themselves look good.
They have to fight this war without any we-pons. So they sharpen their brains and are the smartest in Dell.
I salute these heroes for not caring about hollow terms like karma, society, religion, god, conscience, fairness, truth, law and following rules.
Give a round of applause for the Dell EMC veterans without whom the wfr and attrition wouldnt have been as successful as it is now.

Yes you can build a career of 40 yrs in backstabbing, lying, manipulating the truth and becoming a politician without doing an ounce of work for which you have been hired.
welcome.

You wont be around long to build any career if you cane based on merit.
You need to know EMC guys at the top. And brown nose them. Then you can stay here for 35 yrs and get to executive level taking vacations 50% of time without doing any work.
Otherwise you wre cannon fodder for the wfr train
