Nerdio are also systematically picking up great talent too. The blinkered approach that Citrix “leadership” took in believing that Microsoft were a good partner has come home to bite them on the a$$. That’s what happens when you have the same people in the same roles for 20 years. No original thinking whatsoever.

Not surprising. We were already losing deals to Nerdio when I was at Citrix a couple years ago. Transparent, straightforward pricing, tight Microsoft integration, and a clear and focused product direction are hard to argue against if you're moving stuff to AVD.
